Have Questions About Portfolio Management?

If you would like to learn more about how I manage Shariah-compliant portfolios, I would be happy to talk.

Shariah-Compliant Portfolio Management

I offer investment portfolios that are fully Shariah compliant, giving clients the opportunity to pursue their financial goals while remaining aligned with Islamic principles. Each portfolio is built with careful consideration of Shariah guidelines and is designed to provide a thoughtful, values-based approach to long-term investing.

A Shariah-compliant portfolio still needs to be built around the individual investor.

Your goals, investment timeline, risk tolerance, current financial circumstances, and future needs all help shape the strategy and how the portfolio is managed.

Building the Portfolio

Before investments are selected, I take time to understand what you need the portfolio to accomplish. From there, I can develop an investment strategy and begin constructing a portfolio around those objectives.

  • Portfolio Construction
  • Investment Research
  • Security Selection
  • Portfolio Monitoring
  • Regular Review
  • Client Communication

Client Communication

1
Establish Objectives
I identify your investment goals, time horizon, risk tolerance, current investments, and other circumstances that should influence the portfolio.
3
Construct the Portfolio
Securities are researched and selected within the context of both your investment objectives and Shariah principles.
2
Develop the Strategy
I develop an investment approach around those individual needs while incorporating Shariah considerations into the strategy.
4
Monitor and Review
The portfolio continues to be monitored as markets and your personal circumstances change.

Ongoing Investment Management

I would use some of Brian’s established process language here.

Portfolio management does not end once the investments have been selected.

Research, monitoring, reporting, and regular communication all play a role in helping ensure that the investment strategy remains relevant and on track.

I also believe it is important to stay informed about changes in a client’s life. Your circumstances can evolve over time, and ongoing communication allows those changes to remain part of the investment-management process.

Experience Through Changing Markets

I have experience managing investments through both up and down markets, so we can help clients successfully navigate market volatility.

Market conditions will change, but the purpose of the portfolio remains tied to the objectives established for the client.

A disciplined, long-term approach can help keep short-term market movements in perspective while the portfolio continues to be monitored and evaluated.
